FLIGHT SCHOOL – NEW PERSPECTIVES

In our internationally renowned flight school, in addition to training our own staff, we also train domestic and international students to be helicopter pilots.

During the training process, you will follow various "flight paths" safely to your destination: private and professional pilots’ licences, type ratings for various helicopter models, safety training and much more. AIR LLOYD flight instructors willingly pass on the know-how they have accumulated over the years, proving their skills every day in demanding conditions. We pay particular attention to teaching actual, practical flying skills.

We are looking to recruit at the earliest opportunity a System Administrator (m/f) to work in our IT department at our Sankt Augustin – Hangelar site. Salary is based on €450.

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (M/F) WITH SALARY BASED ON €450

Your responsibilities: What does the role entail?

  • Administration of Windows and Unix servers including web servers
  • Configuration and optimisation of firewall systems
  • Maintenance of communication and IT equipment and components
  • Carrying out regular maintenance work independently
  • Monitoring, analysing and optimising our IT environment

 

Skills: Which skills and qualifications should you bring to the role?

  • You will have successfully completed your training as an IT specialist (m/f)
  • You will have gained many years of experience and have a deep understanding of network technology
  • You will have a very good understanding of the administration of Microsoft operating systems
  • Knowledge of Unix-based systems is an advantage
  • Knowledge of web server management (IIS, Apache) is an advantage
  • A very good understanding of how to implement security policies and how to manage firewall appliances
  • A very good understanding of Active Directory, group policies and virtualisation
  • A very good knowledge of both German and English
  • You will have an excellent grasp of technology, and you are able to work independently and in a target-driven way

Full-time Head of Training (m/f)

For our Sankt Augustin site, we are looking for a dedicated employee (m/f) to start in our flight school (ATO Approved Training Organization) ASAP in the position of Head of Training (m/f) to further strengthen our dynamic team.

FULL TIME HEAD OF TRAINING (M/F)

The job profile: What can you expect?

Your responsibilities will include the monitoring and maintenance of our training permit, and overall responsibility for training including course planning, supervision and monitoring of, training flights, as well as providing support to our cooperation partners.

In addition, you will be responsible for managing student and instructor files, monitoring licence and permit validity (for flight instructors and students), monitoring of flight times, working times and rest periods (for instructors and trainee pilots), providing the necessary planning and implementation documents for training flights, investigating and remedying any irregularities or disruptions in the training company which become apparent, as well as caring for charter customers (including their theoretical and flight training and further education).

In addition, you will maintain and update ATO's internal policies and operating manuals in accordance with current national and international regulations to ensure that we provide high-quality, safe training in our ATO.

 

Skills: What skills and qualifications should you have?

  • Valid EASA ATPL(H) or CPL(H) IR licence, single-engine and multi-engine helicopter type ratings (R44, Bell 206, AS355, Bo 105, MD 902 an advantage)
  • Valid PPL(H), CPL(H), FI(H), IR(H) or TRI(H) instructor’s licence
  • Excellent flying skills, minimum flight experience of 2,500 flight hours
  • Excellent knowledge of the relevant regulations and ordinances such as EASA Part FCL, German Air Traffic Act (Luftverkehrsgesetz, LuftVG), German Work Regulations for Aircraft (Betriebsordnung für Luftfahrtgerät, LuftBO)
  • Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating procedures
  • Analytical ability and quick comprehension
  • Work experience (min. 3 years) in an aviation company in accordance with EASA Ops
  • Experience in training private and professional pilots, as well as initial training for IR(H) at an ATO in accordance with Part-FCL
  • Very good knowledge both spoken and written of German and English
  • Leadership competence
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Confident using MS Office
