How far in advance should we register for our helicopter flight?
After making an appointment with the registry office, the helicopter should be dispatched.
Have you already made your appointment with the registry office? Then book your wedding ceremony in a helicopter with AIR LLOYD now.
Can we choose the registrar ourselves or bring our own registrar with us?
Yes, if the registry office has a valid permit to conduct civil wedding ceremonies in a helicopter.
Who books the appointment at the registry office of the city of St. Augustin?
The bridal couple is responsible for booking the date at the registry office.
What is included in the price "from €1,124"? Which upgrades can I book? (roses, music, etc.)

The price of 649,00€ includes the rental of the helicopter R44, 1 x experienced pilot and 3 passenger seats with 30 minutes flight time. You are welcome to rent a larger helicopter with 4 seats (Bell 206), this has 4 passenger seats for 30 minutes flight time for 799,00€.
You are also welcome to rent part of the hangar, food & beverages, roses and decoration material for an additional charge. Talk to us and we will make it possible.
Which locations are there in the area that make a celebration after the wedding possible?
AIR LLOYD will be happy to help you find a suitable location.
Is it possible to get married on the premises first and then fly?
You are welcome to say "I do" on our premises.
Can I also get married in a helicopter at other locations than Bonn-Hangelar?
In Engelskirchen (municipality in North Rhine-Westphalia) you can also get married in the air.
We would be happy to discuss the details with you in a personal meeting.
What happens if we are late?
Depending on how long the delay is, the flight may have to be rescheduled.
Are children allowed on board the helicopter?
Children aged 5 and over are welcome to fly in the helicopter.
What health requirements do you need to have to be able to fly in a helicopter?
You should feel and be in good health. Participation in the flight is also possible for wheelchair users. You can drive to the airfield in your wheelchair and we will help you board the helicopter.
Can I fly pregnant in a helicopter?
Yes, but it is not recommended as the noise pollution for the unborn child is too high.
What happens if we cannot perceive the flight?
The appointment can then be postponed to another day.
Is there insurance for the helicopter flight? Do we need specific insurance?
You do not need any additional insurance. All flights are commercial flights and are subject to the guidelines of the aviation safety authorities. The helicopters in use have passenger insurance.
Is it possible to choose from specific flight routes?
Yes, we are happy to offer you different flight routes.
Can I fly in a helicopter despite fear of flying?

Yes, helicopter flights are possible in winter if the weather conditions are right.
What happens in bad weather?

Will it be cold in the helicopter?
In winter, yes - the helicopter has cabin heating.
Do I have to protect my wedding dress in the helicopter?
No, your wedding dress doesn 't need any extra protection in the lift-up sleeve.
