High-voltage power lines
Reliable, efficient surveillance from the air
Quality and safety are also our guiding principles in the inspection of high-voltage power lines. That's why we ensure that our crews undergo regular electrotechnical training. The reliable "R44" and "Bell 206 B3" helicopter models have proven themselves in the field, and have sufficient power reserves to ensure the safe, correct performance of flights. Tanks and trained ground personnel are also available for various application scenarios in the field. All this provides efficient monitoring of our customers' high-voltage networks. We provide our reports in the customer’s desired format.

Monitoring of high-pressure pipelines
Specially developed flight software supports the crew during their mission. Our fleet is also equipped with pilot monitors approved by the German Federal Aviation Authority (Luftfahrt Bundesamt, LBA).
Our findings are documented in the helicopter with the aid of a powerful web-based feedback system. They can be called up and used directly in the network operator’s individual systems. We attach great importance to solid helicopter technology and experienced, permanent staff in the air and on the ground. IT solutions specially tailored to the needs and situational requirements of the network providers have led to an enormous increase in surveillance quality, and administrative and evaluation costs have been demonstrably reduced.
CHARM
Monitoring for leaks from the air
In collaboration with our partners Open Grid Europe GmbH (OGE), ADLARES GmbH and the German Aerospace Centre (Deutschen Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V., DLR), we have launched the CHARM® system (CH4 Airborne Remote Monitoring). It was exclusively developed for us, initially as a pilot project, and since 2004 it has been in regular operation monitoring high-pressure gas pipelines with a "BO 105 CBS 5".
This infrared laser-based method is capable of accurately detecting and recording even the smallest quantities of gas from the air!
DSurveillance flights also bring us high-efficiency results over densely populated areas. Due to the sensitivity of the device and the commissions themselves, the pilot's flying skills and crew’s cooperation are put to the ultimate test. Expertise and effectiveness – far beyond national borders.
