Founded in 1973 by Frank Robinson and still privately owned, the ROBINSON Helicopter Company has always stood for quality and innovation, and is currently the world's leading manufacturer of civilian helicopters.
The successful technology company based in Torrance, California, has over 1,000 employees and a network of approximately 400 service stations, including 126 authorised dealers around the world. Its scientific strong point: research and development to the highest technological standards! In 2010 the latest Robinson helicopter model, the R66 (five-seater) followed its predecessors, the R22 (two-seater) and the R44 (four-seater), as the company’s largest and most powerful machine, and for the first time with turbine drive. Their models are constantly being optimised and reinforced. For ROBINSON, standing still is a foreign concept.
